sound. Lots of standout tracks, many cool instruments and effects you

from the twin towers of A&O - a pounding bass that just won't stop
thumping you in the chest while a melodica flutters around somewhere over
your head. This
time Christine and John come with a mainly showcase set, dub after the
vocal, featuring a host of roots talent.
Coz Tafari’s “Marching
Warriors” is an update of Aswad’s anthemic “Warrior
Charge” with John’s melodica replacing the martial horns.
Regular collaborator Jonah Dan pops up twice, first on the set’s
toughest track, “Nah Lef The Truth”, a meditation on keeping
on the straight and narrow housed in a monstrous full-on steppers lurch,
then on the more reflective “This Is My Prayer”. Among the
many others here are old friend Nishka and Gregory Fabulous, key voices
of new roots consciousness in the UK."
